Bad Bevensen has been a recognised climatic health resort since 1929, and since 1976 it has offered state-recognised mineral baths. Several clinics and health facilities have sprung up here over the years, turning the once small heathland town into a spa resort. The guesthouse lies in the town centre, right beside the attractive spa gardens, and is surrounded by forests. The iodine saltwater thermal baths and the health centre lie nearby, while a short walk takes you to the railway station or the beautiful Old Town with its pedestrianised area. The Diana-Klinik and many further health facilities lie just a stone's throw away. Lübeck can be reached by train in 15 minutes and Hamburg in 45 minutes.
